As S3's Year Head, I'd like to stress to you all just how important a year S3 is.

S3 PupilsIt is the year in which foundations for your success at Standards Grade are laid. If you work well this year, you will reap the rewards at the end of S4.

If you don't then you won't.

Therefore it is very important that you give your best in all your classes, as your teachers are giving their best to you.

Most specifically, this means making sure that all homework and coursework tasks are completed on time and to the best of your ability.

If for any reason you think that you can't or won't be able to do a piece of homework or coursework on time, talk to your teacher before it is due in. Your teachers are there to help you and will be able to offer advice.

Obviously problems of all sorts crop up from time to time. Please remember that, as your Year Head, you can come to me at any time with any problems you may have, and I will try to help.

If I can't, I'll find out for you who can.
