S2 had a French cheese tasting day as part of their food unit in French. They tried President Brie and Port Salut. Port Salut was the overall favourite but they didn’t mind the Brie. One description of the Brie was “It tastes like raw keel”.

The Christmas Disco 2012 had a theme of Superheroes. Sorting through donated items, for Mary’s Meals. Some of the secondary pupils wearing pink, as a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Care. S3/4 pupils making a bench for the playpark. This was paid for by Westray Development trust. In one day, the secondary pupils transformed the overgrown garden area at the back of the school. The area is now under new grass.
